Planer or Combination Planer/Ripsaw is designed for furniture, cabinet, flooring, intermittent planing millwork, and other industrial applications. The perfect Planer for S2S and S4S planing, planing and ripping, tongue & groove flooring, wall paneling, etc. up to approximately 75 FPM depending on the depth of cuts and dimensions of parts

    Included Tooling Is  Slip-On Spiral or Profile Cutterheads
  • Standard with Slip-On HAR Series Profile / Spiral Cutter head. Profile Knives combined with 15 x 15 mm x 3° Carbide Insert knives. 1/2” Max depth of cut.  The top and Bottom spindles are 60 mm (2.36”) in diameter.  Optional Profile Cutterheads Available.

What are the three main elements of a planer?

Planers, also sometimes referred to as surfacers, are used to plane one or more sides of rough-sawed lumber to a uniform even thickness. Planers consist of three main elements: the cutter head, containing the cutting knives used to plane unadulterated wood; the rollers, which are used to move the board of wood throughout the machine; and the table, which is an adjustable surface, relative to the cutter head that controls the thickness of the workpiece.
