CAM-WOOD CM-A19 Single Spindle "English Type" Dovetailer

(4) Large air clamps hold down (2) sets of male and female drawer sides which are cut in the same cycle.

Specifications:

  • Automatically controlled jig manufactures precise circles and joints. Router head travels on precision ground guide rod, made from carbon steel coated with hard chrome.

Dovetail joints are used to interlock two pieces of wood using a jigsaw-like link to join the workpieces at a 90° angle. Dovetail joints are made using a dovetail jig. Dovetail jigs are both manual and automated, where the device holds a piece of timber in a vertical position and cuts the dovetail joints with a router using a metal template for accuracy.
