  Workpiece width Min/Max: 30mm - 260 mm (1.18" - 10.2")

  Workpiece Thickness Min/Max: 12mm - 80 mm (0.472" -  3.15")

  Rectangular section max: 200 mm x 60 mm, 260 mm x 12 mm and 160 mm x 80 mm

Minimum length after the saw: 140mm (5.5")

Wood curve in all directions maximum 10 mm in 1 meter (0.39" in 39")

  Thickness tolerance: +/- 3 mm ( 1/8")

Cutting tolerance:  +/- 0.8 mm - 1.5 mm (0.032" - 0.059") Minimal tolerance is with 1-meter length and tolerance max. is for pieces longer than 2,500 mm

Cutting speed:

  Progressive drive up to 250 meters/Min ( 812 FPM)

  Cutting/feeding cycle: 0.7 to 1.2 Seconds

  Main saw motor: 10 HP

  Feed drive motor  4 HP

Marking station:

With table support for (2) marker 5 meters long (195") with infeed section 6,300 mm (248")

Detection for (3) choice of fluorescent

Automatic width contactless detection with laser for up to (16) different products, the minimum thickness for detection 12 mm (0.47")

Belt infeed with variable speed 6,300 mm long (248")

Saw and Outfeed

Feed roller with electric height adjustment

8" Max. & 1" min. board width cap., thickness from 5/8" - 3-1/8" max., board length from 16" min. - 16' max., outfeed length can be as short as 5"; cuts softwood or hardwood.

Equipped with: 10 HP - 4,100 RPM Arbor motor, 15-3/4" dia. saw blade; 10 HP Servo drive feed motor accelerates material up to 750 FPM, (3) pneumatically operated top rollers & (1) driven bottom drum roller positively feeds board to saw, then stops quickly for saw to make the precision cut.

The system consists of: (2) Manual marking stations with cross angle 10" wide belt conveyor; adjustable marking table to suit different board widths.

Measuring station: Cycle type roller conveyor where board length is measured by double wheel measuring system while top mounted luminescent camera detects crayon defect marks, up to (8) grades detectable.

Transport belt: 10" Wide infeed belt between measuring station & saw, 20' length to process full-length cap. board (can be shortened).

Saw Station features: Saw stroke cylinder with acceleration-and-deceleration unit for very high cutting speed; material feeds from right-to-left (LH Version); patented "Waste Gate" eliminates short waste & end trims at saw blade.

Outfeed & Sorting: 10" x 37' Long accelerating belt conveyor to sorting station with (4) kickers, (1) extra sort can be taken over the end of the transport belt; 2 HP feed drive; kickers are encoder pulse controlled and sort by any combination of length, grade and width; can be programmed to kick singularly or to kick in "2's or 3's" for larger heavier boards.

End of belt is also programmable as a sorting station for very long fixed lengths, salvageable finger joint lengths or long waste pieces.

Separate control cabinet with: Industrial PC-type computer (multi-tasking, Bus system) with 15" VGA monitor, 101-key board, hard disk for data storage & floppy disk drive; controls all system functions including measuring, optimizing, cutting & sorting.

Software program handles: (16) Board groups, each with (8) grades & (200) fixed lengths; production statistics on quantities, grades & times; graphical representation of boards; simulation of board data; full fault indication and "onboard" diagnostic.
