BIESSE ROVER S 1224 FT FLAT TABLE MACHINE (W/ATC/BORING):

  Specifications:
4' x 8' Flat Table "Bridge Gantry" machine with "Phenolic "MATRIX" grooved flat table.

The stand-alone version is the most compact solution on the market. It enables the operator to access the machines’ three sides, guaranteeing maximum ergonomic comfort and safety.

  Working Area:
"X" Axis is 97" (2,465 mm), "Y" axis 49.6" (1,260 mm), "Z" axis stroke is 12.7" (324 mm), max. material thickness of 6.7" (170 mm) & 4.1" (105 mm) when using the sweep-arm.

  Positioning Speed:
"X" & "Y" Axis is197 FPM (60 MPM), "Z" axis is 82 FPM (25 MPM).

The head travels via AC brushless drives with Ball-Screw movement for "Z" axis & THK linear motion guides on all axes.

  Worktable:
User-Friendly "MATRIX" grooved Phenolic flat table.

Multi-zone technology automatically adapts the vacuum of the machine to the different board sizes that the customer has in his production.

(2) Manual flip-up stops for material positioning in "X" axis & (1) Manual flip-up stops for material positioning in "Y" axis.

Prepared for (optional) "quick fit" vacuum outlets for optional clamping of small or awkward shaped parts; with "quick connect" vacuum outlet for custom vacuum pods & fixtures.

  Boring Unit:
(1) 2.5 HP (1.7 kW) motor, variable speed up to 6,000 RPM, Boring unit with (19) independent vertical spindles, (11) in "X" axis & (8) in "Y" axis.

  Machining:
(1) 17.7 HP (13.2 kW) "HSD" High speed electro-spindle router with "ISO 30" adapter; constant duty, variable speed from 1,000 - 24,000 RPM, RH or LH rotation.

(1) 12-Position ATC Plate for "On the Fly" ATC located at the LH end of the machine base.

  Machine & Operator Control:
PC Front End with Biesse "WRT" Windows real-time operating system + Biesse  "bSolid" software interface, including anti-collision system.

17" TFT Flat screen monitor; server, full keyboard & mouse all mounted on a mobile cart; Ethernet connection capabilities.

"Biesse bSolid" graphic interface makes full use of the operating methods typical of the Windows operating system: assisted graphic editor used to program machining operations; programming and guided creation of parametric macros.

Import of CAD and other external software files in DXF and CID3 format; 3D simulation of the tool path, calculation of machining time & the ability to create rotate virtual faces.

  Complete with:
● (1) 10.7 HP "BUSCH" Vacuum Pump ● Router tool "Touch-Off Probe" for NC controlled Z" axis tool calibration ● Transformer ● Safety Light Curtain & Rear/Side Cages.

  Options Include:
External Transformer for 230v, 400v, 460v, or 600v Connection

CNC machining centers have a variety of machining capabilities with “one-stop” manufacturing, reducing machine replacement time, and improving production efficiency. The term machining center, itself, relates to any CNC milling and drilling machine that includes an automatic tool change and a table that clamps the workpiece in place. The types of mechanism associated with CNC machining centers are: ATC (automatic tool changer), APC (automatic pallet changer), CNC servo systems, Feedback systems, and a recirculating ball screw and nut. Horizontal machining centers have a horizontal spindle system where the tools are mounted on the ATC, a system that can shift between 20 to over 500 tools, depending on manufacturing needs. Vertical machining center has a feeding conveyor, ensuring that multiple jobs can be completed in one work setup. Vertical machining centers have three axes, as well as a functional spindle head that can be rotated on one or two axes - which is most suitable for mold and mold processing manufacturers. Universal machining centers are similar to horizontal machining centers; however, the shaft can be continuously tilted between a horizontal and vertical position. Universal machining centers are 5 axis machines.
