HARLAN HDL 65 Automatic Top/Bottom Laminating Line with infeed and outfeed stackers.

  • Double Sided Laminating System operating with continuously fed panels. Panel size up to 5' x 12' and 1/4" to 1-1/4" thickness. can run panels as short as 4' and/or 4' wide.

    Line consists of:
  • HARLAN Infeed Stacker Pre-staging area in front of Automatic Panel Feeder; side loaded, Panel Stack Feeder System, Scissor Lift, raises full stack automatically (1) panel at the time and top board is plowed-off onto infeed conveyors; canted,large dia. powered roller conveyor bed with right side fence. Top board is pushed off onto infeed conveyor. Next panel is placed above level in standby position ready to be fed .
  • BLACK BROS Top/Bottom Panel Cleaning station with 7" dia. TAMPICO brushes enclosed with (3) dust collection ports each.
  • Board Pre-Heating station with minimum contact longitudinal strip conveyors, mu 54 KW heaters with (3) upper and (30 lower heating zones.
  • Board Coater Station for glue application, 66" wide direct Top/Bottom Roll Coater complete with drip pans and end dams.
  • Laminating Paper Roll Feeding with: (1) Paper holddown roll and (2) centerless unwind rolls with HORTON air brakes, .overhead station w/Jib crane loading and (1) bottom feeding station with specially equipped, battery powered roll lifter.
  • WEB Coater with removable drip pan; WEBB Flash-Off & Drying station with quartz tube infrared heater followed by heating "relaxing" roll used to soften vinyl material
  • Top/Bot. Laminator Station with: (3) Sets of 20" dia. laminating rolls; (1st) silicon covered externally heated roll, (2nd & 3rd ) chromed steel surface each internally heated by a 36 KW 24 GPM STERLCO, 122,800 BTU Boiler. Oil is heated by CALROD cartridge heating elements immersed in a boiler and recirculated through the steel rolls.

    Additional Equipment:
  • Cutting of laminate between panels is manually with long utility knife. Powered conveyor section w/left & right catwalks for personal "knife cutting" paper for panel separation, and integrated side trimmer units for edge trimming of paper. Speed-up and cool-off section consisting of long longitudinal high speed belts for panel separation prior to outfeed & stacking.
  • Reject Control Station w/jump belt conveyor over panel stacker; panel stack off loading conveyor.
  • HARLAN unload and stacking station. Trimming of excess laminate on sides is trimmed manually.
  • Complete with:  Catwalk and Platform systems and jib crane (to be verified). All controls included with transistor power inverter, infeed speed control for spacing of the boards on the line, overload & short circuit protection.
