Jim has worked in the wood industry for 33 years. The first 20 were spent in Sawmills run by Idaho Forest Industries in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he supervised many departments and became Assistant Plant Manager. Jim also worked in a Stud Mill and a Board Mill, gaining much exposure to a wide variety of equipment.
During the last 13 years, Jim has focused on the Pellet Industry. He has designed, built, and managed three pellet plants. For several years he ran his own company, JB Pellets, handling sales for five pellet companies and a shavings plant. Because this work required thorough understanding of the operations of these plants, Jim acquired considerable knowledge of equipment and the industry. Moreover, Jim is actively involved in many meetings and seminars related to the expanding Biomass Industry, and he is particularly interested in new techniques and equipment for the recovery and utilization of fiber for fuel and other uses.
Given his extensive knowledge and experience, Jim can help you with all your pellet needs. - Contact Jim today!
