EMC EXPLORER 1300 SUPER 3RRK  with TAMPICO Brush Roller... Wide Belt Sander with (3) Sanding Heads: Roller, Roller and Combination Head.

Versatile, full options, medium duty machine, ideal for cabinet shops etc.

Useful working width 1,300 mm (51"). Working thickness min/max mm 3 - 170 (1/8" - 6-5/8").
SUPER indicates longer belt length of 2,200 mm (87").

Head configuration:

1st Head: Steel Roller "R". Spirally grooved. Roller diameter: 142 mm (5-9/16"). On/off selector pneumatically operated. "Grit-set system" for grit compensation. Constant control to any position with accuracy 0.02 mm. Rotation: Against feed (clockwise). Motor power: 18,5 kW (25 HP). Automatic star-delta starter. Rotating cutting speed: 18 m/Sec (59 FPS). Blower for abrasive belt cleaning.

2nd Head: Rubber Roller "R"  Roller diameter: 142 mm (5-9/16"). Shore hardness 65. On/off selector pneumatically operated. "Grit-set system" for grit compensation. Constant control to any position with accuracy 0.02 mm. Rotation: Against feed (clockwise). Motor power:11 kW (15 HP). Automatic star-delta starter. Rotating cutting speed: 18 m/Sec (59 FPS). Blower for abrasive belt cleaning.

3rd Head: Combination Roller & Pad "K".  Roller diameter 142 mm (5-5/8"). Rubber covered roller with hardness 45 Shore. On/off selector pneumatically operated. Roller pressure adjustment control & "Grit-set system" for grit compensation. Motor power 11 kW (15 HP). Rotating cutting speed: 17 m/Sec (55 FPS). Blower for abrasive belt cleaning.

Electronic segmented Sanding Pad "CP" with 43 segments, each 29,7 mm wide (1-3/16"). Quick Change System for removable pad with felt & lamina. Rotating cutting speed 17 m/Sec (55 FPS). In connection with electronic reading bar at infeed with 43 segments.

Heads 2 + 3 use Abrasive Belt dimensions: 2,200 x 1,320 mm (87" x 52"). 
Abrasive belts oscillation by means of electronic photocell sensor.

4th Position: TAMPICO Brush Roller, 150 mm (6").

Feed System:

  •  MOBILE WORK TABLE.
  • Vacuum table for small pieces, with 4 kW (5,5 HP) fan.
  • Idle table rollers support in infeed and outfeed.
  • Rubber covered presser rollers, grooved.

  • Electronic colour 7" Touch Screen control & display. PLC with micro-processor - CP0291. Connection for USB, RS232, Ethernet 10/100/1000. Storage capacity of 100 sanding programs. Front protection IP65 against dust & moisture.
  • Command, programming & display of all electronic pad functions, thickness, feed, inverters, on/off selectors, and abrasive belt blowers.
    Visualisation report and reset of alarms.
  • Telemetry for remote online support directly from EMC.

    General Machine Features:
