Description:

FURNIERTECHNIK LZM-1400 Longitudinal Splicing Machine.

The "LMZ-1400" splices pre-glued veneer strips in order to achieve a fully closed solid glue splice line. Pre-gluing is done on RE/L-35 (see below).

  Veneer size capacity: Thickness: 0.4 to 2.5 mm (0.015" - 0.10"). Width min. and max.: 40 mm - 1,400 mm ( 1.57"- 55") and Length min. 305 mm (12").

  Machine Specs: Feed speed: 10 to 40 MPM (32.5 to 130 FPM). length of heating zone is 1,000 mm (39"). Length Heating element are individually adjustable to a max. temperature of 230° Ce (446 °F). Glue type: Off-the-shelf Urea or PVA.

  Supply requirements: Compressed Air at 5 NL/min (0.5 CFM) at 6 bar (90 PSI). Electrical supply transformer 400 V primary to 480 V secondary. Total load is 6 KW.
